DEFYR is operated by James Richardson. DEFYR is designed to help you build personal discipline through daily standards, quotes, wallpapers, widgets, reminders, and related subscription features. We collect only the information needed to provide, maintain, protect, and improve the app.
Information You Provide
You may provide information when you contact support, submit feedback, configure app preferences, or use personalized features. This may include your email address, support message content, app settings, preferences you choose to save in DEFYR, and information necessary to provide personalized features within the app.
App Usage Information
We may process limited app usage information such as app launches, feature interactions, subscription entitlement status, device type, app version, operating system version, crash diagnostics, and performance data. This information helps us operate the app, fix issues, understand what features are useful, and maintain subscription access.
Subscriptions Handled Through Apple
DEFYR subscriptions are handled by Apple and are purchased and billed through your Apple ID. We do not receive or store your full payment card number. Apple processes payment information, manages billing, handles refunds according to Apple policy, and provides purchase and subscription status information needed to unlock paid features. We use trusted third-party service providers to support subscriptions and validate subscription status.
Analytics and Attribution
We use a third-party analytics and attribution provider to understand app installs, campaign performance, and app usage. If you allow tracking through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, limited device information may be used for advertising attribution. You can allow, deny, or revoke tracking permission at any time in iOS Settings. We do not use analytics to collect the contents of private messages, payment card numbers, or sensitive personal information unrelated to app operation.
Local Notifications
If you enable notifications, DEFYR may schedule local reminders on your device. Local notifications are delivered by your device operating system. You can disable or change notification permissions at any time in iOS Settings.
Local Device Storage
DEFYR may store app preferences, assessment progress, saved content, reminder settings, cached assets, and similar app data locally on your device. Local storage helps the app function quickly and remember your settings. Removing the app may delete locally stored data from your device.
Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to help protect information processed through DEFYR. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
No Sale of Personal Information
DEFYR does not sell your personal information to third parties.
